Mexican musician and composer born in 1965. Skilled creator in musical composition and expression, his skill is not the product of innate talent, but of the constant exercise of a strong will to create.

He is currently studying a degree in composition at the Superior School of Music of the INBA under the chair of maestro José Enrique González. He was part of the chair of teacher Hugo Rosales Cruz q.e.p.d.

He began his piano studies at the age of 11. In 1984 he entered the propaedeutic in composition at the National School of Music (today the Faculty of Music) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico - UNAM. He studied piano with maestro Néstor Castañeda, composition with maestro Radko Tichavski, music theory with maestro Jorge Pérez Delgado, choral ensembles with maestro José Antonio Ávila, harmony with teachers David Domínguez and Juan Antonio Rosado, and singing with maestro Enrique Jaso Mendoza. . In 1988 he entered the Superior School of Music of the National Institute of Fine Arts - INBA where he studied in the area of ​​Piano - Jazz. He had Francisco Téllez as piano teacher and Juan Valdivia as Afro-Antillean percussionist.

Since 2016 and to date he is a teacher in the Jazz Career at the Superior School of Music of the National Institute of Fine Arts. He currently teaches Record History I and II and History of Jazz. He has also taught the chairs of Harmony for Jazz and Jazz Theory.

He has given lectures and conference-concerts on the History of Jazz. In November and December 2018, he presented the concert "The History of Jazz told and played by the students of the Higher School of Music" in the Library of Mexico and in the forum of the Elena Garro Cultural Center and in the Angélica Morales Hall of the School. Superior of Music of the National Institute of Fine Arts.

In 2017, he developed the Jazz on Design project, which was selected to participate in the XV Music Education Festival of the Faculty of Music of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (FaM-UNAM). This workshop has been repeated in various venues, including the Othón Salazar Book Club, the Museum of Passion Cultures in Iztapalapa, and the Center for Religious Studies in Copilco.

In 2008 he founded and performed regularly at "Copernicus 61, the other bohemia" in the Anzures neighborhood, a cultural center that he managed for 4 years presenting his group "Copernicum Jazz" with his own arrangements and compositions and other artists. The group performed twice at the Restaurant “Nueva Orleans, la casa del Jazz” in San Ángel.

Since 2015 he directs the Mexican music duo “México Cenzontle” arranging traditional Mexican music, Mexican popular music and Mexican concert music. In 2018 he released the album "Agua de Todos los Ríos" with 17 songs that include sones jarochos, huapangos, pirékuas, music by Manuel M. Ponce and even the laments of La Llorona. The group has performed in more than 80 concerts in various cultural spaces in the city, including: the SHCP Archbishop's Palace Art Museum, the National Museum of Popular Cultures and the José Luis Cuevas Museum. His album is available on all digital music platforms including: iTunes, Spotify, Amazon Music, Google Music, Apple Music, Claro Música, Deezer and Napster.

In 2019 she was part of the music workshops at the Teletón Children's Rehabilitation Center (CRIT) in Iztapalapa, Mexico City. In this center she has learned and put into practice techniques to prepare young people with intellectual, motor and sensory disabilities to learn to play instruments and sing.

In 2019 and 2020, she was a workshop facilitator for the "Alas y Raíces" program of the Ministry of Culture, giving literary and musical composition workshops to children of middle childhood.
